Recent Illustration and Design Work

I have worked as an illustrator since 1998. I illustrated articles for local and regional magazines (including Little Rock Monthly every month from 2003-2006), painted multiple book covers as well as the inside illustrations (including fully illustrating a children’s book ‘How to Get Your Brain to Stop Yelling “Ouch!”),and painted the album art for dozens of bands going all the way back to 1998. The list below begins in 2016 for brevity.

University and College Level Teaching Positions

I have been teaching college level studio art classes continually since 2007. In Summer 2020 I became online certified and have taught five fully online courses so far. From 2008 to the present I have worked as arts faculty at eight colleges. I currently teach at Golden West College (last seven years), Chaffey College (five years), Santa Ana College (five tears), a Mt. San Antonio College (two years) and Cal State LA (2017) all in Southern California. Before that I worked at Herron School of Art and Design in Indianapolis (3 years) and One semester at UALR (Fall 2010). Finally I taught at Indiana University Bloomington as a Lecturer in 2008 and 2009. Beginning Summer 2007 I was an Associate Instructor while completing my MFA at Indiana University. My typical class load for most of these thirteen years has been between three and four classes per Fall and Spring Semesters and one to two per Summer Semester.
